Friday, September 25th at NOON - Deadline to choose the ONE-PAY Option on your Studio Director Portal Page for tuition.
Choose the one pay option to receive the 5% discount on tuition. Annual tuition balance will be due on October 1st if you choose the one-pay option. No one will receive the 5% discount if requested after this date. No exceptions will be made. You must make this choice every year so please do not assume this carries over from year to year. Also please make this choice on every dancer’s page that you have with us.
October
Thursday, October 1st - Reminder that any family who chose the ONE-PAY Option for tuition will have their credit card charged for the full year tuition (minus the September tuition you already paid) on October 1st.
Saturday, October 10th - Monday, October 12th - We will remain open for classes throughout the long weekend
Thursday, October 15th- Enrollment Deadline for new students and Add/Drop/Change Class Deadline - once costumes are ordered we can no longer change the class roster. Thank you for understanding.
Also: Deadline to choose the Recital Fee Options (1 or 4 increments) on your Studio Director Portal Page. First Recital Payment will be charged on 11/15. Anyone who has not made a choice online will default to the 4 payment option which will be on the 15th of each month from November thru February. Anyone who would prefer to make one payment on 11/15 for the 5% discount should choose that option on their portal page EVEN IF YOU HAVE MADE THIS CHOICE IN PRIOR YEARS. You must choose this option every year and for every dancer you have with us.
Saturday, October 17th - Friday, October 23rd - Measurement Week for recital costumes - this will be done during class so please try not to miss class this week!
Friday, October 23rd - Annual Center Stage Halloween Party to benefit the excel dance team. Keep your eye open for more details about signing up. This event sells out quick!
Saturday, October 24th - Friday, October 30th - PEEK WEEK - Drop in on any of your child’s classes to see what they have been working on this Fall!
November
Saturday, November 7th - Wednesday, November 11th - STUDIO CLOSED - Our Faculty and Staff will be in Disney for the Excel Team performance
Thursday, November 12th - Studio re-opens (No classes for Excel Team dancers this day)
Thursday, November 26th - Sunday, November 29th - The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving Break
***Soloists for the Nutcracker should assume they will have rehearsals during Thanksgiving weekend. Please do not audition for a lead roll unless you can be available during Thanksgiving weekend.
December
Saturday, December 5th In studio Rehearsal for Nutcracker - There will not be any regularly scheduled classes this day. Please come during your designated rehearsal time listed below.
9 - 9:45am - The Saturday 8:30am class and Wednesday 1:00 class will meet to practice their part in the Nutcracker as our “Storybook Children”
10:00am - 12:30pm - Opening Party Scene - Drosselmeyer, parents, Soldiers, Dolls (Doll Princess, Mini Dolls, Mechanical dolls and hip hop dolls only), Older Party Children, Younger Party Children, Clara, Fritz and the Maid
12:00 - 1:00pm - Mouse and Mouse Queen join Opening Party Scene Rehearsal
1:00 - 1:45pm - Finale Rehearsal - not everyone needs to be here for this. We only need Soloists, Drosselmeyer, Mother Ginger, Clara, Fritz, Maid, Mr. and Mrs. Staulbaum and anyone else Ms. Jacque tells to be there
2:00 - 3:30pm - Flowers, Spun Sugar, Mother Ginger and her Petite Pollichinelles, Russian, Chinese Tea (plus people operating the dragon)
3:30 - 5:00pm - All soloists, Icicles, Snowflakes, Reindeer, Angels, Spanish, Arabian, Marzipan, Peppermint, French Dolls
Saturday, December 12th TENTATIVE DRESS REHEARSAL (Required for Everyone, at QHS)
10:00am - 1:00pm - Opening Party Scene - Drosselmeyer, parents, Soldiers, Dolls (Doll Princess, Mini Dolls, Mechanical dolls and hip hop dolls only), Older Party Children, Younger Party Children, Clara, Fritz and the Maid
11:30am - 1:00pm - Mouse and Mouse Queen join Opening Party Scene Rehearsal
1:00 - 4:00pm - Everyone else should be dressed in hair and make up ready to go at 12:30 please. You can leave once your student has performed her part but you are welcome to stay and watch!
Sunday, December 13th TENTATIVE SHOW DAY at 11:00am and 3:00pm! We won’t hear from Quincy Public Schools about our requested dates until after the start of the school year.- Not everyone will be performing in both shows. Some of our younger dancers will be split into smaller groups and perform in one show only. Kids who are only in the 11:00 show should plan on being there at 10am. The doors will open at 10:30am. Kids who are only in the 3:00 show should arrive by 2:00. The doors to the auditorium open at 2:30pm.
Monday, December 14th - Saturday, December 19th - PAJAMA WEEK - Ditch the tights and leotards for the week and wear your comfy clothes or favorite jammies
Sunday, December 20th - Closed for Winter Break through the New Year

Monday, January 4th - The studio re-opens for the New Year
Monday, January 18th - The studio will be closed to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day
